How To USE:
Directions for use:
- Open the package, take out one band, and close the package immediately.
- Fasten the band around your wrist, with the printed side up.
- Apply sunscreen over all areas of exposed skin and over the band.
- When exposed to sunlight, the band immediately turns bright purple to indicate it has been activated.
- When the band fades to light pink, it is recommended to reapply sunscreen on your body and on the band.
- When the band turns pale yellow, it is recommended to cover up or get out of the sun.

Note: A partially-used band, when re-exposed to the sun, starts monitoring UV rays from the point it was at when you last took it out of the sunlight. Use only one band a day per person, and then discard it.
For best results, please apply sunscreen to the band BEFORE it is fully exposed to the sunlight.
The band is calibrated to work only with sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher.

Repeated exposure of unprotected skin to the sun may increase the risk of premature skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful effects to the skin, even if no sunburn occurs. The use of a UV warning wristband combined with limiting sun exposure, wearing protective clothing, and using sunscreens may reduce the risks of sun exposure.

Human racial groups vary by hair color, skin color, eye type and reaction to exposure to UV radiation.
There are six recognized skin types as regards the effects of UV.
Skin type, definition & reaction
- Red or blond hair, blue-green eyes very light shin –> Mostly burns, does not tan
- Light-medium hair, eyes and skin –> Usually burns, seldom tans
- Medium hair, medium to dark eyes, medium to olive skin –> Moderately burns, lightly tans
- Dark hair, eyes dark, olive to light brown skin –> Burns mildly, tans to moderate brown
- Dark hair, eyes and skin –> Seldom burns, tans to dark brown
- Dark hair, eyes and very dark skin –> Insensitive, does not burn
