Tyvek Wristbands are the most economical and versatile style of wristbands around. Not only because they are cost effective and can be used in many different ways but they also come in different sizes and styles.
Tyvek wristbands are made of paper but not normal thin paper. They are made of fiberband paper which is much sturdier and hard to tear making it perfect to provide the security you need for your event or patients. Though the paper is tougher for security purposes, the great thing about Tyvek wristbands is that you can easily print on with usually a very quick turnaround time. Whether you want to add just text, a logo or both, you can have it all done on a Tyvek wristband within 24-48 hours!
Tyvek wristbands are available in 3 different sizes: ½”, ¾” and 1.” While we are able to print effortlessly on 3 sizes the image requirements vary by size. For instance, for the ½” wristbands the printable space is about 5-½”.If you are sending a logo or any artwork, we ask that it be in black and white and at least 200 image resolution or more.
For the ¾” wristband the printing space is the same as the ½”, 5-½”. However, since the images will be slightly bigger we do ask that any artwork or logo you send be in black and white and at least 300 DPI. These same requirements go for the one inch wristband as well. The only difference being that the one inch band has 6 inches of printable space as opposed to 5-½.”
An added bonus to Tyvek wristbands is that you can get the solid colors or design bands either plain or printed on. This is a great option when you want to add versatility or added security measures to your events especially if you didn’t want to add printing. For instance, a solid red band could mean an attendant is not admitted into a certain area whereas a red web design band could mean that they are. Many schools and daycare centers use solid and design wristbands to mark which kids are bus riders or pick ups. By choosing between solid and design bands they can save on printing costs.
However, if you do need printing we make it very easy for you! You can simply upload your artwork and/or text to the site after selecting the type and style of band you want.
